Excellent location, shame about the staff

Very mixed feelings about this hotel which claims to be 4 star. It isn't. Good things include it's wonderful location in the centre of the Jewish Quarter, and some charm in the rooms. Our room was cleaned beautifully and we tipped accordingly. As a 4 star it is let down by, no explanation of hotel facilities (very few) and no offer of help with luggage on check in. No tea and coffee in the rooms. A lack of adequate quality toiletries (combined, shower gel/shampoo AND conditioner, just topped up daily ....really? Poor TV viewing (certainly for English speakers), and paltry breakfasts, which are the same each day. But the worst thing is the staff, unfriendly and in certain cases unhelpful. How people can knowingly put you in a room where the kitchen fans beneath sound like a Chinook in your room and you can hear he chef's conversation, is beyond me. However our second room on the 3rd floor was fine, but we only got allocated it, after getting difficult with reception. Very sad, this could be a wonderful boutique retreat, it has much going for it, but for the time being I would not return again to The Rubinstein.

Pros: Tilavat huoneet muhkeilla vuodevaatteilla. Tilava ja toimiva kylpyhuone.
Cons: Huoneen lämpötila oli ajoittain liian lämmin eikä kunnolla säädettävissä, vaikkakin oli myöhäissyksy.
Location: Hotelli sijaitsee Krakovan juutalaishistorian kannalta merkittävässä paikassa. Muihinkin kohteisiin on kohtuullinen kävelymatka.
Nähtävyyksien ja historian kannalta mitä mainioin sijainti. Huone oli yleellinen. Aamiaisen valikoima oli pienehkö, mutta laadukas. Ravintolahenkilökunta oli avulias ja ystävällinen.

Kodikas hotelli keskustan tuntumassa.

Pros: Kaikki ok.
Location: Hotelli hyvällä paikalla. Lyhyt matka vanhaan kaupunkiin.
Hyvä aamiainen ja isohko huone. Rauhallinen paikka. Ystävällinen henkilökunta.

Hieno historiallinen paikka

Szerokalla ollaan todella historian äärellä! Kiva hotelli ja hyvä aamiainen. 2 h:n huoneet kuvien perusteella messeviä, 1 h:n huone ok. Huoneesta oli näkymä sisäpihalle. Se ei haitannut, koska päivät kuluivat ulkona maisemia ihailemassa, museoissa, kirkoissa ja shoppailemassa! Lämmityslaite oli kovaääninen, onneksi ei tarvinnut juurikaan käyttää. Jonkun verran kantautui ääntä alapuolelta ravintolasta, mutta hiljeni 22-23 aikoihin. Sijainti sopii innokkaille kävelijälle, etäisyydet nähtävyyksiin eivät ole mahdottomat (esim. Mozak, Wawel, vanhakaupunki, ostoskeskukset). Sähköiset "turistivaunut" lähtevät aukiolta. Aukiolla on lukuisia ravintoloita. Rubinsteinin oma on tosi hyvä, viereisen ravintoloitten telttakatoksissa söi marraskuussakin elävä musiikki. Erityissuositus: Klezmer Hois aukion kulmassa. Kannattaa maksaa 20 zl konsertti-illasta.

Hyvä sijainti Kazimiersissa

Location: Kazimierzissa:rauhallista, runsaasti kahviloita ja ravintolioita sekä pikkukauppoja lähellä.
Persoonallinen, tyylikkäästi ikääntynyt. Vastakohta moderneille tai remontoiduille hotelleille. Aamiainen olisi voinut olla 4,5 tähden hotellille monipuolisempi. Kahvi oli muutamana aamuna todella laihaa.

Hyvä paikka asua

Location: Sijainti todella hyvä juutalaiskorttelissa. Ovelta pääsee suoraan kadun ravintoloihin ja ostoskaduillekkin on lyhyt matka.
Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Aamupala oli hyvä. Huoneessa oli arvokkaan oloiset vanhat, tummat ja suuret huonekalut. Muutama yksityiskohta olisi tarvinnut kätevää talonmiestä, muuten kaikki oli niinkuin pitääkin. Hotellin ravintolalla on Michelin suositus.

Idyllinen hotelli hyvällä paikalla

Pros: Sijainti, tilava siisti huone ja hyvä aamiainen.
Majoituimme yhdessä hotellin sviiteistä, joka oli todella tilava ja kaunis. Hotelli sijaitsee pienen aukion reunalla Kazimierzin kaupunginosassa, ympärillä useita hyviä ravintoloita ja nähtävyyksiä. Rauhallinen paikka. Hotellin aamiainen oli erinomainen ja palvelu sujuvaa.

Asiallinen hotelli, hyvällä alueella

Todella siisti hotelli vilkkaassa Kazmirissa. Illan ja yön terasseilta kantautuva meteli ei kuulu huoneisiin lainkaan. Suosittelen.
