"We booked the Highfield Hotel for a short break, to visit family and friends. It's our first time staying here, but it wont be the last. Check-in was faultless and easy, with a friendly member of staff. After a recent refurb, the rooms are beautifully decorated & very comfortable and even though we we only stayed for 3 nights, our room was cleaned every day and was nice & fresh when we returned each day. Breakfast was a fab selection and the food in the restaurant was very reasonably priced and good sized portions. The only negative is the exterior is looking a little tired and the windows definitely need replacing for double glazing, but that didnt prevent the room from being cosy & warm. "
