Couple getaway

For what we paid, hotel was good. Hardly spent time in there as we were out exploring. The room was cleaned by staff everyday. However, it wasn't ensuite so had to walk to the bathroom to shower but it was clean. Only uncomfortable thing was that the double bed was two single beds put together so kept moving apart and the walls were really thin so could hear every movement outside of our room. Great location alongside the canal which made it easy to get to everywhere we wanted to. Had to check in at a different hotel but staff were nice and friendly and had a place for us to store our luggage after check in on the last day while we went out to explore.

You get what you pay for

We paid something like £100 for 3 nights accommodation as we're not generally fussed with where we stay. As long as we have a bed and clean facilities we're happy. I did request a canal view room some 2 weeks before our stay so one would think we might be accomodated but instead we were tucked into a shoebox size room in the back corner with broken shutters and a cracked window. We didn't have a bathroom in the room so shared the one only shower with the other rooms and of course it was absolutely filthy and it was a lucky dip if you had any hot water. On the upside, the location was great, right on the grand canal and only a short walk to the bus and train stations. Great restaurants within close walking distance as well. Most hostels we've stayed in around Europe are better than this place but let's face it, we're talking about Venice which is ridiculously expensive and as they say, you get what you pay for.

L'hôtel est un établissement rappelant l'époque de louis XIV. Le weefi ne fonctionne pas. On a du laisser la porte de la chambre ouverte pour capter un moindre. Le lit est affreux. Chaque matin, j'avais mal au dos. Les murs sont recouverts de tapisseries en tissus, les volets étaient en miette... Le ménage était encore plutôt correct. J'ai quand même trouvé une fourmi dans le lit.

Excellent séjour

Très bon emplacement. Hôtel confortable, silencieux et propre avec salle de bains attenante à la chambre. Il est cependant regrettable que le matelas soit constitué de 2 matelas de 90 au lieu d'un grand matelas de 140,sans changement possible malgré notre demande. Petit déjeuner copieux ,personnel agréable.

Ideaal voor citytrip

Verouderd hotel maar heel proper. Ideaal gelegen, centrum gemakkelijk te bereiken te voet of per boot. Ontbijt heel eenvoudig en beperkt. Basic hotel, ideaal voor een citytrip!

Nicht zu empfehlende Unterbringung

sehr gut Lage direkt am Canal Grande, Hotel hat leider bessere Zeiten gesehen, Ausstattung veraltet, Bettfedern und Matratzen durchgelegen, frühstücken geht man besser woanders, zu unserem Zimmer gab es ein WC und 1!!Dusche auf dem Gang (Nutzung durch mehrereZimmer), obwohl bei Buchung Zimmer mit WC/Bad angegeben war, Fliegengitter waren zu teuer, aber unsere Klimaanlage hat wenigstens funktioniert - Jugendherberge wäre besser gewesen.

insalubre

que dire inoubliable!!! mais pas dans le bon sens!! les murs plein de moisissures,moquette délabrée et sale, la salle de bain commune au autres chambres, la douche avec des paroies qui tombent et une pomme de douche qui est complètement disloquée enfin bref on pourrait faire un roman... quand au personnel désagréable au possible!! bref très beau séjour mais hotel a EVITER
