It's so easy to leave Florence airports

Chances are, you'll land in Peretola Airport, just 15 minutes from the centre of the city. It's a rather small airport, but hosts plenty of busy connections to Paris, London, and Munich, among other destinations. The cheapest way to get into Florence is to take the ATAF Volainbus about 20 minutes to the city centre (6 euro). You can buy tickets at the ticket counter or when you get on the bus. A taxi will cost you about €20 to get downtown. You may instead find yourself landing at nearby Pisa Airport, located in the town of the leaning tower. By train, you can get from the airport to Santa Maria Novella (SMN) Central Station which runs frequently and costs about €8. Or else take the Terravision bus straight to the centre of Florence for €6. There are so many options!
