Copenhagen Kastrup Airport is located 8 km (5 miles) southeast of the city centre in Amager. There are three main (easy) options to help you reach the city centre on arrival. First up is the city's Metro leaving at intervals of 4-6 minutes during the day (15-20 minutes at night). Within 13 minutes the Metro will get you to Nørreport Station (a city centre transport hub) from the airport. A 24-hour adult city pass on the Metro costs DKK 80 (10.72 euros). Running every ten minutes during the day, trains to Copenhagen Central Station will also have you in the city centre within 13 minutes. There are also buses throughout the day which can take you to City Hall Square.
