Hotel was just like the pictures minus the view of a brick wall lol. But overall not bad for a hotel to just sleep and stay while you’re out during the day. Location is absolutely amazing, only about a 2 minute walk away from the Red light and about a 5 minute walk from Dam central. Cleanliness is there with bed sheets and towels replaced daily however breakfast isn’t the best in options. Beds were comfortable and decent and shower facilities was okay.

Good location and great staff , disappointing room

Pros: Location,staff and breakfast
Cons: Room comfort, Control noisy guests.
Location: Right in City Centre so close to many museums etc and the canals
Stayed in the Annexe in a room at the back of the hotel, so no road noise. Room too small for two people...the side of the bed was up against the wall and no drawers for clothes so cases took up even more of the little floor space there was. Virtually no daylight in the room...looking out over a dirty mini courtyard. Worst aspect was the noise from guests..its an old building so you hear everything said and every move they make. No efforts by guests to be quiet, and hotel staff are not there to keep the noise down. Room was clean, as was bathroom with wetroom...saves space!! Breakfast was very good...continental. Hotel was a minutes walk from Dam Square and the canals, and Red Light District, so great location.

We always hope that guests will contact reception while the guests are still staying in the hotel if there are any issues, such as loud neighbors, as we are more than happy to address this so that you can enjoy the rest of your stay. The city center of Amsterdam is world renowned for its tall narrow buildings, although this area is convenient and charming, it does have some impact on the size of the rooms. We hope you will stay with us again and please be sure to put any room preferences you have in the special requests. We will do our best to meet them!

Lovely hotel located in a good vibrant area.

My friends and i have stayed at this hotel before and loved it. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and staff are v friendly and helpful. It was a central location to many things inc red light district. Would highly recommend!

Very charming location, right in the middle of the town. Between red-light district and Amsterdam West we had plenty of option to walk all day and all night long. Friendly staff and the house itself is typical for amsterdams architecture.
