I liked the atmosphere, the quiet position of the hotel, the lovely evening meal and the beautiful Elemis products in the room.Also, the price for a solo traveller and their plans for a spa. I didn’t like the small shower cubicle, the unfinished look of the toilet room eg. paint on door/tiles and floor that needed cleaning. I was thankful the receptionist moved me to another room after finding the first one a bit dusty.

Hotel is beautiful inside and outside and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, the room was very warm and had no airflow. The temperature was showing 30.5 during the night which was too warm. The staff provided me with a fan which helped. I ordered cod and chips one evening for dinner and although the fish was cooked to perfection the chips were very burnt and for £16.50 was not worth it.

Good Seaview, single room was very small. Food OK if pricey and starter portion of squid was tiny. Staff all very friendly and hotel contemporary and clean

Generally ok, room on the small side Breakfast was ok but of little choice. Location was fine Parking is on the road and can be difficult at times.

Good place to stay

Hotel is in excellent location to all activities. Very god quality food is being served at hotel restaurant. Management was very helpful with resolving all issues during our stay.

Nice hotel - fair walk to where the action is

Really lovely hotel - staff very accommodating. Room very disappointing as it was very small. Beds lumpy and wardrobe stuck sideways up a corner so hard to access and very dark.

Beautiful contemporary renovation, well run hotel

Pros: Comfort of rooms, the food, good staff.
I have stayed here twice on business and once for pleasure. It has been beautifully renovated. The staff are excellent the food is fantastic and it has a lovely location on the sea front. It is perfect for business or pleasure. My only issue was with room 115 having a shower cubicle that was ridiculously small opposite a tiny toilet room. But it is an old Victorian building, so you are going to get these quirks in some rooms. Other rooms I have stayed in had more spacious bathrooms. All in all a fabulous hotel !
