Hi Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. I am sorry that you felt like the cleanliness was not up to standard. I am unsure as to why this was as we pride ourselves on our cleanliness. We do hope that you can visit us again. Kind regards

The toilet seat was losing its enamel so the wood was showing ,not hygenic but the best part of my stay was the visious bull dog they have working in the breakfast room she needs to go. She has no people skills what so ever and doesn't think twice than to start an argument in the middle of a busy room ,a horrible woman who probably hasn't had any for many years...

Convenient hotel

I was only in Prestatyn for two days, but the hotel was super. Staff upgraded me to a sea facing room at a small extra cost. Facilities were excellent.

Somewhere between OK and grim.

Pros: The lift
Cons: Everything beyond the reception desk and the lack of staff. Most important though is the terrible bed.
Location: This was a work visit. There is absolutely nothing that would make me visit Prestatyn voluntarily.
The reception area was quite pleasant and the lady behind the desk was very helpful and friendly. The lift to the third floor was useful too. The room was very small, meant to be a double but the bed is a 3/4 and pushed under the window on one side. The room was in a mansard rood and the Velux window had weird curtain held unsuccessfully by two poles. Someone should tell the management that Velux make some really excellent blinds. I did try to buy a drink in the bar but there was no staff available to serve so I gave up. The bed was the real problem. It was hideously uncomfortable and resulted in a very poor night for me. I have just driven 350 miles and was tired, very tired. It's a bit fundamental is a bed in a hotel. A hotel is just a bed for the night. Sleeping is the objective but if the hotel has the cheapest, nastiest mattresses the whole thing is a failure. I will never go back to this hotel. The bathroom was just beyond its service life and needed ripping out and refitting. TV remote almost made me wretched. Suspicious sticky deposits. Uhh. Carpark is other side of the road and gave me no confidence. There is some kind of prison opposite, at least it looks like one. I brought all of may kit into the room and left the car empty just in case.
