Unique architecture. Mostly great staff. Nice rooms, great breakfast. Club lounge was only open few hours every day (I was told by email 1 week before arriving that it was open as usual with no limitations). Half board was just OK. Gardens very much neglected. Piles of leaves and dead plants everywhere. Lower pool area in urgent need of repair. Loose stones and concrete. Very dangerous. Hotel could be great but not there yet... A pity.

The Club, fitness classes & lovely breakfast. The fitness instructors are lovely and offer a range of activities. Club area is fabulous giving you access to designated areas.

I liked the unique style of the hotel,also staff very helpful & friendly especially Miguel in the bar.we found only 1 employee in the buffet at night taking room no to be unfriendly & little English to deal with us.Our room also near the road was not ideal as most nights at 1.30 am trucks picked up rubbish & glass .Will return to a different room though.

Our third visit but first following an extensive renovation in 2017 . Positive points - the hotel has lots of character and the. Outdoor gym has lots of equipment , has great views and is accessible at good times. The breakfasts are a great start to the day but it was very busy at peak times Downside is that the hotel is a lot more commercial than before and you now have to be a club member ( 80 eouros per room per day including drinks during the day ) if you want to access the sunbathing area at the top which has always had breathtaking views. This charge applies even if you are on full board and had I been I would have been really pissed off. As it was I went B and B , booked and paid up front so got a good deal. They do not even offer all inclusive as an option and I , and a number of other guests ,found this latest policy really divisive. 15 euros a day for car parking is also excessive but they did eventually reduce that for me. We did a three day deal for the hotels three restaurants which worked out o k in the end but do not go for it unless you are certain as you will not be able to cancel it. Finally I would not go to Las Roccos the seafood restaurant at night again as the thing that sells it are the views and you could be anywhere in the dark and we found the menu pretentious . On balance I love the location but am not sure I would return again
