Hello, Thank you for your review, we are very pleased to hear that you found the bed comfortable and reception very helpful. We are a little disappointed that you found the bathroom tired and the menu disappointing in the restaurant. The hotel has been following a constant program of improvement over the last few years, we have refurbished 20 bedrooms, and 10 bathrooms in the last 12 months alone, we have installed air conditioning in an additional 4 rooms bringing the total of air conditioned bedrooms to 32 of 64, we have another 15 rooms due to be refurbished in the next few weeks many other bedrooms have been redecorated as well. The restaurant menu is changed daily we also offer an extensive snack and light lunch menu so we are quite surprised to hear that you found the offering disappointing. We are a little puzzled with your reference to walking to Teignmouth, the hotel is located on the coast overlooking the sea at Dawlish Warren, the next Town within easy walking distance, is Dawlish which is 20-30 minutes’ walk away.
