A lovely quiet hotel set in beautiful grounds. Staff friendly and helpful and even if breakfast service was a touch slow, it was nice and relaxed and slowed us to unwind a little from the ‘outside’ world !!

Beautiful

Lovely hotel surrounded by beautiful grounds. We stayed here for a wedding and the service was fantastic. The building is historic and well restored however there was no bell service and no lifts, it's a steep climb to the top floor with a suticase. It is however very clean and comfortable and the staff are polite and welcoming. The grounds are very well maintained and it is very quiet and peaceful. The Hotel is situated by the river in Maidenhead which is a beautful area but you would need to have a car to get around. There aren't hotel ammenities as such but you would find plenty to do locally. I would recommend a stay here for a truly relaxing break.
