Great stay- free chocs at check in. Set up a special room for kids as it’s half term with table tennis, table football, DVD player, books, drawing and games. Free transfer to airport was timely. More than was expected.

A fabulous experience due to the spot on 100% customer care. Breakfast was a delight. The food was good quality and a large selection. And the staff were fabulous. No surprise to me at all why Chef Glynis has won the Employee of the Year several times over. And her sincere professional manner clearly rubs off onto the younger members of the team. Main was kind enough to bring me Fresh lemon, fresh ginger and honeycomb because they could see I was unwell with a cough and laryngitis. And even gave me a second cup to takeaway The whole reason I chose this hotel was they collect you from the station free of charge. And then in the morning v they take you to the airport free of charge. I would choose this hotel again now. I did have an issue with my bath taps not working. But was moved professionally and quickly to another room which was also an upgrade with robes and slippers and water bottles. Slept like a dream. Pillows were fabulous mattress perfect. Linen crisp and good quality. Air con all working. The biggest tv I’ve ever seen. Could have done with help from a Porter with my bags. it was hard to wheel 2 suitcases on carpet. But there didn’t appear to be one. And I wasn’t offered help. Maybe a point to improve in there.
