Beautiful location. Wonderful staff. Awful property. Needs. A huge amount spending on it to bring it up to standard. We stayed in one of the lodges and they smelt of cigarettes and damp. They were badly kitted out if you plan on cooking. One saucepan. No dish soap or dishwasher tablets. Nothing to use in the oven. Facilities are run down too. It needs closing until it is up to standard. The positives are the staff who are absolutely lovely especially the wonderful Eastern European staff and the restaurant which punches way above its weight. I would recommend booking only if you get a special offer and prepare to bring the contents of your kitchen with you.
