The staff make this property. Extremely helpful and friendly. I was disappointed in the room for the price we paid. It was tiny and a bit run down. We had a beautiful view of the bay and the bed was comfortable. The hallways to the rooms are very shoddy and badly need refurbished. The hotel was definitely not as nice as i had imagined it would be. If it wasn't for the excellent staff I am unsure I would stay again.

We loved the sea views but because there was no room fans or air con then we had to leave the small bedroom window open to get any air - it was very warm in Cullen when we visited. Since the main road was very close outside the hotel then the noise of traffic was disturbing - it seemed to go on late into the night and from early in the morning.
Better air con would have avoided some of the traffic noise from the busy road - we didn't realise the main road was so close to the front of the hotel. Also, getting out of the hotel and turning right was very dangerous because the hotel is on the corner and you can't see what traffic is coming from your left towards Cullen!
