Comfortable Thatched cottage style Pub B & B

Pros: Breakfast The room itself which was fully equipped Gardens and the ambiance inside
Cons: The bed and pillows
Location: Good location for Cambridge, Duxford IWM, Newmarket
Very comfortable and welcoming B & B ideal for an overnight stay, close to Duxford Imperial War Museum. Standard room was excellent with new bathroom, only complaint was the bed which was not particularly comfortable and there was only one soft pillow for each person. Superb breakfast, very large full English! Thoroughly recommend

Beautiful 1660 thatched pub

Pros: The building, the food and the staff were all top notch
Cons: The TV was very small
Location: Very convenient location close to Cambridge and lots to do nearby. We visited The National Trust's Wimpole Hall and farm about 10 miles away.
Had a great one night stay at this historic and characterful public house dating from 1660 located conveniently close to motorway, Cambridge and many tourist sites.

Excellent food

Location: We visited Duxford and Cambridge on this visit. Both were well worth the visit.
The pub food (evening meal and breakfast) was excellent. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Our only negative was the room was a bit tired. " light bulbs were blown and some of the bathroom fixtures (soap holder, toilet roll holder) were loose. The TV is very small and the screen cant be viewed clearly from the bed. The room was comfortable and clean.
