Business trip

Good convenient location and quiet at night time. However would have appreciated free parking as some other Dublin hotels provide complimentary!

Excellent value, just a shame I little out of town

Pros: Friendliness very obligeing
Cons: Just the work noise too early
Location: Lots to do, to suit all, just didn't manage to get duck bus, we were told after waiting half an HR, there were no more. Little disapointed.
Loved it, just very noisy Monday morning too early with works in the area!

Good Trip

Hotel is located in a very pleasant and convenient district a short walk from Docklands where I was attending a conference. The reception were very welcoming and the parking rate which allowed me to stay all day after I checked out was good. The room and bathrrom decor were dated but it was very clean and comfortable.

Great hotel just a short bus ride from city centre.

Lovely rooms, great staff, good Dublin pub on site. Easy to reach all city centre attractions and restaurants. Would definitely go back here.

Fantastic hotel

Everything about this hotel was excellent. From reception to your room the feel of the place is like home. The rooms are great value for money, the bathroom is huge and so are the beds. The only bad point is don't be next to the lift as it is so noisy and kept me awake a lot. The bar is amazing, good food at reasonable prices and the staff are very polite. We will definitely be returning .

Wonderful reunion trip.

The staff went over and above expiration. They were extremely helpful. The owners should look to upgrading the hotel and not let the already noticeable detoration continue.

short stay

We arrived about 9 am and were allocated our rooms immediately- this is very rare so we were pleasantly surprised. Breakfasts very good and something for everyone - also good vale at 10 euros. Staff lovely and most helpful. Only drawback is the distance from town but if you enjoy walking like us it was not a major issue. Would certainly recommend this hotel and stay again

Poor Overall Service

Firstly the room was very clean and I was happy with the overall comfort of the room. Nothing special but it met my needs perfect. The hospitality on the other hand was dreadful. The staff were very unfriendly and unwelcoming. It did not feel like they valued the custom but saw me like another cash cow. Even after paying EUR140 a night for a standard room, they charge me an additional EUR10.50 per night for using the car park which the hotel owns! I travel to Dublin a lot for both Business and pleasure and often try different hotels for variety. I wish I hadn't chosen the Ballsbridge Hotel and I wont be frequenting there again. Loads of other top quality hotels in Dublin which do provide the great Irish hospitality that is expected.
