Bathroom could do with a deep clean; black stains in loo which could be removed with scrub or bleach, dark dirt around inside of bathroom door frame, extractor fan filthy Room very small - would have been uncomfortable for more than 1 person Very noisy and disturbed night from revellers in same 'block' Again in the morning - noise from guests wandering around outside in an effort to achieve a phone signal - I could hear every word of conversations Signposting to reception not great Reception staff lovely Bed clean and comfortable

Beautiful location

Peaceful surroundings location so quiet despite wedding party so much space and very comfortable Only criticism no fridge no air con as it was very hot w.end room very stuffy Fantastic place n worth visit

Hotel staff were friendly professional and efficient. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed. A good selection of food and drink for breakfast. Overall one of the nicer places I have ever stayed. I would go back

Disappointed

Pros: The reception staff were very helpful and friendly and the leisure facilities were very good and clean.
Cons: Price to reflect basic rooms,
Location: N/A
No Rooms in main house as shown in photos only chalet rooms nearby these are small,basic and over priced the walls are paper thin we were kept awake most of the night by t v and snoring. We didn't see the restaurant as arrived at 5pm and that was fully booked until 9pm,so opted for bar menu here there was limited seating and by 6 pm there was limited offer on food as sold out. I would be surprised if this hotel gets many repeat bookings

Wonderful venue and facilities

Pros: Gorgeous building and breakfast good!
Cons: Pricey for dinner but understandable Rooms could do with cupboard space or bedside cabinets
Location: Good location for attractions and peaceful
Rooms were lovely and location stunning. Friendly staff and great facilities.

Lovely Break

The breakfast was lovely and the bed comfortable. The only downside was rooms are in blocks outside the main Manor House. I believe this is clearly stated on the website however I booked through a holiday company therefore this is not the fault of the hotel. Room decor not to my taste but that's personal preference and the tv did not work for the three days we stayed. This was a sky issue however within the Manor House and reception their tv was fine.

Moody staff - going through a process.

I got charged twice for dinner - paid on card, got a receipt. Literally minutes later he came over to get me to sign for the room! When I said I had just paid him, he rolled his eyes and threw up his arms muttering something like it was my fault. Found no staff particularly friendly. Also massive long hair in the bathroom
