Should be a one or two star hotel, not four

The bedroom was tiny and had damp on the walls. The window was tiny and didn't let in much light. The walls were extremely thin and we could hear banging from upstairs and the next door room, particularly when cleaners were moving beds and slamming doors. There was no kettle in the room and the bottled water was only refilled on a few of the days. However, the hotel was in a very good location and the staff reasonably friendly... but won't go back.

Good short city break

The hotel is in the heart of Barcelona's lively and very beautiful Gothic Quarter. The location can not be beaten. The hotel itself is rather basic and nothing spectacular. I had a great 5 day city getaway and would love to return to Barcelona.

Leider wurden unsere Erwartungen von einem 4-Stern Hotel keines wegs erfüllt. Zu Begikn bekamen wir ein kleines sehr stickiges Zimmer mit Blick in einen nach Abfall riechenden Innenhof. Nach dem wir dieses Zimmer beanstandet haben bekamen wir ein kleines Upgrade mit Blick auf die Strasse (das war was positives). Leider sind die Wände so Lärm durchlässig das man das gefühl hat die Nachbarn stehen neben dem Bett. Das Zimmer allgemein ist sehr heruntergekommen wie z.B.: morsche Türrahmen, risse an der Decke im Badezimmer usw. Also wer sich auf ein 4-Sterne Hotel freut sollte eher mit einer 2-Stern Einrichtung rechnen.

Die umgebung war super, das Personal an der Rezeption ebenso. Beim putzen könnten sie etwas mehr raus holen, hat aber gepasst!
