clean and tidy

Pros: everything
Cons: bacon
Location: near port
clean and tidy hotel in a great position for the port and the rambles nicely in the Gothic area with lots of places to eat near by would recommend this hotel for anyone

Good location, Rude Staff, Not a 4 star

Pros: Cleanliness and Location
Cons: Getting rid of the grumpy, rude and arrogant staff
Location: Close to La Rambla and Seafront. Restaurants and bars within walking distance
Hotel was ok, the location was good, close to La Rambla. However, the hotel staff were very rude (not all of them, in particular an elder male on the front desk. The young men on the front desk were actually helpful and polite) My friends mobile phone was stolen on his way back to the hotel, the man did not want to help and was very rude about it. My friend was asking if he could use a computer or phone to block his phone to which he replied "No, our internet is off until the morning anyway, nothing we can do". On a separate occasion I asked this man what bus we could get to the airport and where we got it from to which he replied "I don't know" with a shrug of his shoulders, "how should I know?". Correctly me if I'm wrong but I'm sure this is his job, as a concierge, to know. This hotel is a 3 star at best, however it was clean and central. As a side note, they do not have any English channels on the TV apart from the stock exchange channel, which is refer annoying when you are trying to relax.

Lovely place

The location was excellent as it was a five minute walk to la rambla and central for beach, buses, underground etc. Good night's sleep as quiet because down a side street and staff were helpful, booking us a taxi to airport at the end of the week. I would stay there again and recommend it to others. Coffee can be bought from the vending machine in the foyer and room was spotless every day upon our return.

facilities

it is a shame that they dont offer a Kettle in their rooms,...that the breakfast buffet is overpriced, and has very few options, and the internet wifi is so poor
