Lots of things to do and a great setting. Suggest getting down fro breakfast early to avoid queues.

Lovely hotel with lots of activities and restaurants to pick from. Our room was a little dated but a great size and had a lovely view.

No hot water for most of stay and no apology from reception on check out. Had to evacuate hotel at midnight due to fire alarm. Room floor was not level and bedside cabinets were at an angle. Breakfast was good. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times but based on this last experience I will not be going back.

Had a lovely relaxing break. Staff very helpful and polite. Entertainment at night was enjoyable. Breakfast buffet style and lots of choices. You could have a very relaxing break at Crieff Hydro or you could be involved in the many activities available. Our room was a good size and very comfortable large bed Would definitely return

Large old hotel in beautiful setting

Pros: Location and grounds.
Cons: Free Wifi, Room temperature control and breakfast.
Location: Suitable for my needs.
This large hotel is located in a beautiful setting and it was conveniently located for my needs. Unfortunately the "Free WIFI" is abysmal and it is very difficult to get a working connection. Call me cynical, but I felt the free WIFI was set up not to deliver so that users are forced to pay for a better service. I have received better WIFI in smaller lest costly establishments and so the lack of a reliable free service was a real let down. The room I had was unbearably hot even with the radiator off and the window open so I did not get a good night's sleep and it was not particularly warm weather either. I overheard other guests complaining about the room temperature too so it was not just me. Breakfast is a bit of a free for all bunfight "buffet style" and the cooked breakfast was therefore not particularly hot albeit perfectly edible. I assume the system operated meets with the hotels operating overheads so is understandable. Other than that the hotel was relatively clean and the staff pleasant.
