Amazing hotel with very helpful staff . Everything was close by including the restaurants and markets and not to mention the Blue and Hagia Sophia mosque which were just a 7-10 min walk away . Ismail and Irfan at the reception desk were so helpful anytime we had a question and breakfast with the view of blue mosque and the Med sea on the other side are not to be missed !! Would definitely recommend!

Extremely good choice for old city area of Istanbul

Great location, minutes walk from main attractions and very close to many good restaurants. Lovely building, great staff, lovely roof terrace with view of Bosphorous and Blue Mosque. Bedrooms small but well appointed. Heard some noise from doors etc but very good in general. Lovely to have an Efes beer sat outside by the hotel's café. Would stay here again if returning.

Friendly, comfortable hotel

We had a really enjoyable week here, the staff couldn't do enough, the room was large, comfortable and very clean and there was a good choice at the breakfast buffet (no full English, but we didn't want that anyway!) I have only marked it down a little because there was some noise to quite late at the little cafe across from the hotel, this wouldn't be a problem with rooms at the back. We were interested in the history and architecture of the city and the staff were very helpful, telling us about places we might have missed otherwise and advising us on the best way to get there.

Comfortable and friendly hotel in a convenient location

We enjoyed our stay at this charming hotel with its friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and were always at hand to offer useful advice and information. The twin-bedded room was clean and comfortable, although our two windows overlooked a street rather than a view of the Bospherus sea we had hoped for. The breakfast buffet was ample and delicious with home-made yoghurts, fresh fruit and a selection of cheeses and sweet and savoury dishes. The location was perfect, only ten minutes walk from most of the main attractions in Sultanahmet such as the Blue Mosque and the Topkapi Palace. We were spoilt for choice as regards restaurants situated on a street some five minutes' walk away from the hotel and we found them very good value on the whole #apart from one fish restaurant who charged twice as much as all the others#. The hotel also provided us with ferry timetables and a transport card which we used #after loading it at the automatic dispensing machines at the tram stations# to travel on the trams so that we could visit places further afield. All in all, a very pleasurable stay and we'd certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit the beautiful city of Istanbul.

Liked it

We really enjoyed the location and the place, room was big, clean and comfortable. the only sad thing was we did reserve this hotel because they are supposed to have sauna / SPA but when we asked they said it was closed for renovation, so before booking give them a call if you also would like to profit of this nice to have facility.

liked it

liked it, location is good, breakfast is OK, unfortunately the spa/sauna was not working during our stay which is a pity considering we chose this hotel because it had the sauna... :(

Das Gebäude ist aus Holz, schlecht isoliert, alles ist in den Nebenräumen zu hören.
