This hotel is very new as testified by the springiness of carpets. Being so new, you could expect teething problems, but none showed up on our 2 night visit. Housekeeping seemed well in control and a refreshing change to see local people employed. On the refreshment side in the building across from the sleeping quarters, staff had things ticking over nicely, were well organised and friendly. The one fly in the ointment is that my sat-nav did not recognise the post code, however if you enter Prospecthill Road into system, that should get you there. Good well run hotel.

A 2 night stay

Pros: Most things
Cons: The basic design of right hand rooms.
An excellent place ideal for my work nice early breakfast which is also very good. The rooms are good excellent wi fi. The only complaint is in the design of the rooms if you sit at the table in rooms 109 the vent is to your left and the draught is awful. The pub does good food and in a short time.

Lovely and modern

Great hotel and pub. Clearly newly built so really modern. Staff were great and couldn’t do enough. Lovely little park and under 3s play area in the pub. Food really nice too. Very quiet location although I think there’s plans to build more in the area. We stayed here as a short hop to Glasgow airport and much cheaper and nicer than airport hotels. Minor winge about corridor light coming in under the doors (I like a really dark room) and you can hear the other people in the corridors so may be an issue when people come in late.
