Great hotel within close proximity to the coast and other popular areas to visit like Colwyn bay , Llandudno, Snowdonia where hotels are either too expensive or always sold out. Clean rooms and comfortable beds . Restaurant is also affordable with nice food and breakfast. Second visit

I liked the old world charm in the main house. I was not impressed with the room. It was lacking in facilities. There were no drawers, so nowhere to put any clothes or belongings. No fridge. No complimentary toiletries. Only 2 tea bags. No stand for the suitcase. We stayed 2 nights, it would have been very uncomfortable to stay for a week. Also, there wasn’t a safe. I’d call it ‘Spartan’.

This hotel has been very accommodating. I have used this hotel on various occasions over the years, and always been satisfied with the staff and my stay. I would be happy to recommend to friends and family.

For what it is which is basically a pub hotel many things were going including the food and service. Unfortunately the hotel has one major drawback. It is extremely close to the A55 dual carriageway which is basically a motorway. The rooms do not have air con so in the room we were in you had a choice of having the windows open and suffering extreme road noise or having the windows shut and sweltering without any passage of air either choice was very uncomfortable and not conducive to sleep!!!

Awful check in the guy on teception was extremely rude and quite obviously was lacking job satisfaction, we arrived half hour early than the stated check in time as we eere going to family party in the area he said that none of the rooms had been serviced as yet and made us wait until check in time he would not allow us to keave our bags.

Thank you for reviewing your previous stay with us, We are sorry that you could not check in early as this is an option that we can provide, Logistically there is a limited amount of time between check out and check in for all the rooms to be serviced but we do endeavour to make arrangement for an early check in, this service is chargeable at £20 and requires 24 hours notice. I apologise if the gentleman on reception was rude to you and I will be investigating this further. Thank you Talardy Hotel
