Room felt and smelt damp. But it had a clean bed and shower and thats all I needed

Ticks the boxes for budget stay

Does what it says on the tin. Budget hotel with basic rooms that are clean and good customer service, can't say fairer than that. Only a 5-10 min walk into The centre pedestrian zone. The bar/restaurant area is really nice and modern, and the bar prices aren't too expensive either. Both the girl who checked us in and the guy who served us at the bar were pleasant too.

Great location, good for 2 star

Pros: Location
Cons: Decoration and bathroom
Location: Dockside, and only a few minutes walk from the centre, Albert Docks and the railway station.
Remember it is 2 star and it is good for that rating. The room decoration reflects that but it was clean and acceptable. Good bar and breakfast. Overall, satisfied with my choice.

Another UK hotel offering little value for money

Pros: The Bar was nice too bad the rooms don't reflect this.
Cons: Build a new hotel which actually gives better value.
Location: Location is ok but who cares when you dread coming back to spend time in a mouse trap.
Tiny room, uncomfortable bed asking far too much than what's given in return. The room and amenities are not worth the time would be better renting a private room in a hostel or paying more for a decent room.

Very expensive for what you get.

The room was comfortable and staff were friendly. Only complaint was with the condition of the room - much in need of decoration/ upgrade. There were two hastily filled in and painted over holes in the wall along with a number of exposed drill holes in the bathroom. The bathroom tiling was yellow. However, everything functioned as it should but not worth the money.

Rude staff and very noisy. People doing drugs outside the entrance to the hotel. Door and lights broken in room as well.
