Nice hotel, little bit dated in the decor but as we got it for a great price we didn’t mind, excellent location, just 5 min walk from main town. Breakfast was nice but didn’t get to try evening meal but looked ok, only slight negative for us was the check in, we turned up early and were told 2pm was the check in and it would seem not a second before as several over guest joined us in the bar until the magical time which then caused a que to check in, every other hotel I’ve stayed at has let us check in early if our room was ready but not here. Other than that we were very happy with our stay

Nice hotel. The bathrooms need updating as the shower pressure is awful. The hotel is also very noisy with not much soundproofing between the rooms and corridors. We were not asked how our stay was when leaving the hotel which shows they must get the complaints often. The food was really nice so were the waiting staff.

Unexpected charge for parking- no mention on their website. Staff argued that info was on their website. Hotel tired and in need of a refurb! Promised so much from the outside and failed to deliver. Comfy bed and pillows and a good breakfast saved the stay. Food in restaurant good. Service a bit slow even though it was really quiet but really friendly and professional young staff. First impression of hotel walking in to reception was an overwhelming smell of drains! Not noticeable everywhere but was on our room as well. Had to sleep with the window open. Receptionist said they would alert maintenance team- but subsequently reading other previous reviews this has been going on for some time! Several comments from reception about us having booked through a third party as if this was a crime! Think they should be grateful for the business!

Pros: POSITION NEAR CENTRE TOWN
Cons: As already stated
Location: Stratford upon Avon and Warwick Castle
not told about many stairs. Put at very back room but not advised that it could be accessed by back door as we had to carry our own luggage up the may steep flights no lift. Access for elderly and disabled, poor. Tour buses with engines starting early in the morning outside our windows 116/120 idling for over an hour UNABLE TO CLOSE FAULTY WINDOWS DAY OR NIGHT. Initially requested downstairs room at reception ......agreed but never followed up.

Lovely child and dog friendly hotel near centre

Had a lovely week. The dog was welcomed and allowed everywhere except the main restaurant so we could take him to the bar etc. Very clean se to the rsc theatres and pretty walks to Shakespeare houses etc. Homely rather than posh but we prefer that with children. Lovely pool only wish it had a jacuzzi but can’t complain about anything. Staff were lovely and friendly at all times. Garden was smaller than I imagined from the pictures but just big enough to let dog have quick run about in the morning and at night. I’d definitely stay there again
