Our stay

Pros: Facilities for price paid.
Cons: Quality of room furnishing, especially bathroom.
Location: good location for Arundel, Littlehampton, and surrounding arears
Good value, in-house breakfast with a reasonable choice, served in pleasant surroundings. Nice to see that they had a bar, for those looking for a night cap etc. Better than the usual Travel Lodge etc. Room was clean, but not really fitted with furniture that cope with repeated use, so showing signs of wear and tear. Bathroom basically clean, but dirty in the corners etc, for the same reason. Staff friendly and accommodating. High levels of traffic when leaving the site on a bank-holiday Saturday afternoon, due to adjacent Fuel station, lorry park, Subway, and drive-thru Mc Donalds all sharing the same single lane exit route.

Accommodating Staff

I was disappointed that there was no food available in the evening, it meant a 10 minute walk in torrential rain to get to the beefeater restaurant across the bridge. Other than that, the stay was very pleasant. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. I stayed in the Hilton Arundel for Goodwood last year and have to say that the Confort Inn was a lot better. Just missed the food aspect.

Hotel ok but no evening meals

Hotel was ok but the lack of an operating restaurant for evening meals is a major let down. Breakfast was similar to that of a travelodge but no hash browns and the fresh fruit wasn't great, looked more tinned than fresh. Nice spacious room though.
