This was a really short overnight - I arrived around 00:30 and left at 07:30. Night porter was really friendly, room was nice enough but the old style casement window rattled in the wind. No chance to check out anything else but it seemed fine and a great central location.

Nice enough stay.

The building is of older date and although it had been "refurbished" after a fire some years back it is still an older building. Sound travels and there were families with small children on both sides of my room so mid-night and early morning crying was very noticable. My wife would prefer access to a bathtub (not sure there are rooms with that). Tried the lobby cafe but was disappointed in the coffee, not sure they were very experienced in running the machine. Cleaning was great. Internett was superb. location very handy.

just the place we required

center of Darlington, room ok. no view but clean room and friendly staff made it a ideal hotel for the theater break we wanted. theater walking distance 10 min. shops just round the corner was the main street. pubs and nightlife, 5 min

Staff very friendly, room clean, big and comfy, centrally located, parking, good bar and food choices- would definitely return.
