Thank you for your post: I am sorry we disappointed you in this occasion and thank you for your comments and feedback which we absolutely take on board for review and action where possible. Thank you for letting us know. The hotel has been underfunded for many years: it is however now franchised and undergoing a 44 million pound refurbishment and over the next three years, all aspects of the property will be renovated to the highest standard. We already have 112 totally refurbished rooms back on line and being well received by the guests who have occupied them. There are several planned stages for the renovations and the room refurbishment will be ongoing for some time. We do hope to have your continued support. Very best regards…

Please be assured that all guest comments and feedback are shared and investigated to improve for the future. We are now franchised and a multimillion pound investment is being made with a an extensive refurbishment underway which will see all 821 bedrooms, 22 meetings rooms, 2 restaurants, 3 bars, gym and all public areas renovated to the highest standards. This will take time and over the next 3 years our guests will see the changes being made. We expect the first 112 fully renovated rooms to be back on line from January 2020 with further phases agreed.
