The area surrounding the hotel was not particularly ideal - outlook from our room window on the ground floor consisted of the car park servicing the Hotel and the other businesses located in the area. This did not matter too much to us as we were just in our room in the evening.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was first class in terms of cleanliness and functionality. If I was being very 'picky the view from the first floor room window, over the roof of the hotel's extension, was not the one I would have chosen!

Decent hotel for an overnight business trip. Room was a little cold, but I personally prefer that to one that’s too hot.

These were the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept on (room 207). Bedding was very dated also. Breakfast was over-cooked and been left too long. Very disappointing for a Holiday Inn, we shall not return.

Pros: The Latte coffee was lovely each morning
Location: Excellant location for University and a Town centre
Excellant location - easy access to the University and Town centre. Hotel had everything we needed for a short break. Rooms very clean and a good breakfast selection.

Easy to locate, functional and clean

Pros: Clean and welcoming, non smoking, room. On line booking without any hitches.
Cons: Breakfast experience was, in my opinion, lacking.
Location: Stopping just for one night had little chance to sample locality, but did find a reasonable pub within short walking distance
One overnight stay with no previous experience of Holiday Inns. Pleasantly surprised.

Business as usual

I have stayed in numeorus HI Express hotels up and down the country. All offer value for money in my opinion and Norwich is no exception

4 nights

Heating was controlled by reception, so had to wait till the morning to organise it to be turned on for the next night. Chip in bathroom sink and 'bleach needed down the toilet and round the rim. No windows to open only a push/exit door Same choice for breakfast every day, eggs ,hash browns, sausage and beans . All in all, value for money, just these few minor details. We enjoyed our visit.
