We booked a double bed room but when we got to the hotel they gave us a twin bed room and said they can’t change it. Phone or TV wasn’t working. Bathroom wasn’t clean. Lights were broken in the hallway so some parts were completely dark while getting to your room. The door in the bathroom had a crack on it which wasn’t safe. Found the staff to be rude and not caring. We ended up not staying the night as the staff told us “we are welcome to leave”.

Had to wait for a while at check in. The staff manning the busy bar were checking people in. No separate shampoo or conditioner in room. Bed had a hair in it. T.v small.

Handily placed for anyone spending their time at Gunwharf Quays, which is a great place to base yourself in Portsmouth. I'd booked a twin room but was allocated a double with an unmade sofa bed. whilst this was an error, the reception staff were friendly and efficient in moving us to a twin room. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, though at peak times, the staff had trouble keeping up with demand. As it's included in the room cost, the overall price is very good. Free parking at Gunwharf Quays as well which is a bonus. Overall, a good place to stay.
