Pleasant stay with the family. Family room was good value especially with breakfast included. Made good use of the leisure facilities, you are still limited on the time you can spend in there and you have to book but that’s the circumstances we are in not the hotels fault. You will need car to get around as out of town but that was fine for us for exploring the area around Reading. Good base.

Room nice and clean, sadly very uncomfortable bed which left both my wife and i with back ache. We are used to a hard bed but this was so bad!

Hotel is very close to motorway and easy to access. The gym machines are old and need an upgrade. The hotel of this type should have better bathroom / shower facilities.

Outdated bathroom, no natural light

The bathroom doesn’t look like the pictures. Ours was extremely old fashioned. Worst than this was that the windows didn’t show outside (and therefore bring natural light), they were to another part of the hotel and if we opened them we had massive spotlights shining in. This was really odd and not nice in the morning. Tolerable for one night but any longer would be horrid. Good breakfast.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry if you did not enjoyed your "Internal" room. Some of our rooms have view on our Atrium Bar so with only secondary natural daylight.I am glad you still enjoyed your stay and breakfast.

Great hotel next to the stadium

Pros: Location and price.
Cons: Drinks were a bit expensive. Bring prices down.
Location: Very handy for visiting Reading town center.
Comfortable and convenient hotel attached to the stadium. Very welcome after spending the afternoon in the cold stands.
