Great venue, clean faciities. Spa and gym is a nice bonus. Useful for shopping as well with Merryhill 5 minutes walk away. The waterfront is 2 minutes walk, with a number of bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

good location and close to shops and water. Hotel is undergoing an upgrade. There were issues i.e no fridge in room, poor bar service. When we brought to the attention of the manager he did take the issues seriously and addressed those he could.

This hotel is in an area where they have little competition. The property is in dire need of investment as the rooms are looking very tired and dated. I had a decent sized room at the corner of the building which was quite acceptable. The staff are trying to cope with a new checkin in system which actually does not function properly, and irritatingly asks the time you’re going to check out even before you’ve stayed a night!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, very clean and modern. Would like more variety of drinks in room, eg water, hot chocolate sachets. Otherwise, highly recommend.

The hotel was clean and Covid safe. Staff were very friendly as efficient. Some of check in systems seemed slow, the process took a while! An unfortunately the spa and swimming areas are still closed, despite most of the country now reopening. If the amenities reopen I can highly recommend this hotel.

Great, convenient location. However my room was pretty dusty... maybe just not used for some time in the current Covid situation, but I would have expected more care. The fixtures and fittings are tired, and could do with a refurb. Also, and no fault of the hotel, the bars on the waterfront were very noisy until very late... followed by loads of boy racers revving, screeching and sounding their horns in the carpark immediately below.... not ideal. All in all, it was ok, but I'll most likely try elsewhere next time.
