Overall was ok. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel for cleanliness or space. We got a room for three adults and there was a double and a single bed but it was so small. There was hardly any space to move around as well this the bathroom was extremely small. Shower wasn’t great. Hand wash was there but broken so we had to go out and buy one. Was a lot of dust everywhere and the carpets need to be refreshed as there was gum stuck. Too much dust considering it should have been cleaned for us. Staff were lovely especially Chris - was extremely helpful with our requests. Location is great as it’s right next to the station and city centre.

Nice hotel right in the heart of Cardiff and really good value. The staff are what made it for us, they were so friendly and caring that we felt really comfortable there. Breakfast was great and, again, the staff serving made every effort to ensure we enjoyed it safely. A big thank you to all who work at the Clayton Hotel!

The location was perfect and the rooms were lovely. Only downfall was the parking near the train station was full but we managed to find another one further away
