Having read the reviews I was expect great things. But I ended up really disappointed. Hotel entrance is bizarre. Up one lift one floor then down another corridor to another lift to go up to rooms. Room was okay. Cleanliness was poor and condition was bad. Shower sealant all black and mildew. Shower door hits towel radiator when opening so you have to pull hard. Cracked tiles and missing grout. Curtain hanging off rail. Tea splashes on door frame. Just so disappointed with conditions in room.

Excellent hotel in city centre.

Pros: Cleanliness and the staff were very pleasant.
Had a very good deal and the hotel could not have been better. It is situated a short walk from the station and although we could not check in until three they were happy to keep our suitcase so we could go out for lunch. The room was cosy and spotlessly clean with coffee making facilities, the bathroom was also very clean with a walk in shower and toiletries. Breakfast was plentiful with pastries cereal tea and coffee and also cooked breakfast. Overall we had a lovely stay and will return next time we are in Cardiff.

Ideal business one-night stay

This hotel was ideal for a one-night stay on business. The staff were very friendly and even printed some documents for me when I enquired. Including breakfast would have been a nice touch, but that would be my only suggestion. Comfortable and very clean room, powerful shower and good amenities. I will definitely stay again.

Fab city break

Loved the room, really spacious, was a bit worried as we were next to the lift but didn't hear any noise from it at all. Gorgeous bee friendly products :) Slap bang in the centre of Cardiff - within walking distance of everything!!! Definitely stay here again!

Spontaneous Night in the city

Me and my boyfriebd booked a last minute night in cardiff as a treat mid-week. The hotel was excellent value for money and the location was perfect. We ate at pieminster across the street and had cocktails in missoula next door. The hotel felt luxorious and the bar and room decoration was amazing. Will definetely stay again soon. Staff were helpful and welcoming too.

Cheap hotel in Cardiff

What we paid for the room was about right. Now having stayed there, would only stay when there are room offers. Not a 4 star hotel compared to the other 4 star hotels in Cardiff. Broken toilet, mold on the bath tiles and shower screen. Reception staff nice and friendly. Didn't try food.
