The property does not present the Marriot quality. Some rooms were smelly boxed in and lacking in comfort

Excellent welcome from receptionist (lovely young lady called Violeta) and nice room. Bed was very comfortable and we slept well, although did hear traffic noise, but we were right in the city centre off a busy road so to be expected. Shower had good pressure and decent size bath towels. Also nice to see Dowe Egberts coffee rather than the awful sachets of basic Nescafe original that so many hotels seem to stock. Food selection at breakfast was excellent and again staff were welcoming and attentive. Full marks to the staff trainers. Only couple of slight negatives - housekeeping had missed putting bottles of water in our room and the table in our room was damaged and unstable, so should have been repaired or replaced before the room was let out. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and the staff made it special.
