The staff were amazing!

Due to availability we werent able to check in early however the staff at the hotel recognised this and offered us free lunch and upgraded our room to a sea view! A massive thank you to the staff on the desk including Walid Zakaria the duty manager who really made our stay comfortable. Would definatly stay here again, was walking distance to the beach. Theres a 24 hour shop at the plaza level so we were never short of anything! Also, a massive thankyou to the house keeping team (Mohammad Athar) who always went above and beyond in making sure our room was clean every day and we had extra tea/towels etc!

4* service in a fabulous location

I think previous reviews I had read about this hotel were pretty accurate. It is one of the cheaper hotels in the Dubai Marina/JBR area and it is reflected in the accommodation, however, that does not make the service any less than a 4/5 star hotel. The staff on reception, in the restaurant, housekeeping and around the pool, all had excellent customer service skills. They couldn’t do more than enough for you and were very friendly. They provide beach and pool towels, so no need to pack them. They were happy to let us store our luggage and use the Spa shower facilities after we had checked out a 12 noon when we had a night flight. The hotel is quite quirky in its style and decor with bright colours and contemporary furnishings, some of it looked like it had better days. For a newish hotel, it does need to be refurbished in areas, particularly the bathrooms. Shower areas that leak and have made the floors and corners a bit mouldy. We didn’t go on the tram or metro this time, we found the taxis were easy to flag down and very reasonably priced by the meter. The new “The Beach” area is a must. It has loads of shops, restaurants and things going on, with a great atmosphere, its clean and has toilets and showers on the beach! Check out the view of the “World’s largest ferris wheel” (Dubai Eye) being built over on Bluewater island.

OK

It was cheap and cheerful. Great location if you want the beach, quite a long drive away from the main shopping malls. Very basic room, clean on arrival, but not maintained so well within our 3 night stay. We arrived just half an hour before the end of breakfast service, and there wasn't enough food there, fruits and yoghurts were frozen, floor was dirty, the cleaning guy left his cleaning cart full of slops, right next to our table as he cleaned others. We waited so long for our eggs that it was clear they'd not put the order in, in the first place. We didn't have the included breakfast on day 2 due to this experienced, and we complained. We had to use the breakfast on day 3 and it seemed like they had taken our feedback on board, and it was better. Couldn't get a taxi to anywhere but the airport from the foyer. Staff nice enough. Pool small, but clean, but right next to the road.

Ideal location, great hotel

Spent a week in this hotel in early November , staff were very welcoming and efficient at check in and very pleasant and helpful during our stay. Ideally situated at the end of JBR walk, so easy access to the shops and restaurants in that area. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with balconies and a sea view which could not be faulted, airy and spacious and a high standard of cleanliness. Enjoyed the hotel pool. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if we should return to Dubai.

Siisti hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla

Hotelli oli siisti ja saimme yllätyksenä tuplasti isomman ja paremmin varustellun huoneen. Altaalle paistoi aurinko koko päivän, mikä ei monessakaan hotellissa toteudu ympärillä olevien korkeiden rakennusten vuoksi. Meren rantaan/kanaalin suulle rakennettiin juuri uusia rakennuksia, rakennusmelua jonkin verran muttei häiritsevästi. Hinta-laatusuhde hyvä ja henkilökunta ystävällistä.

Comfortable hotel near beach and metro

We spended 6 nights there. Even outside at the pool was terrible hot (+ 45 degrees celsius) for Finns inside was always comfortable temperature. Breakfast was really good, best ever i could say, also personal was the best can get. Outside the cook made eggs like we wanted. We booked some trips outside of hotel and was difficulties, but personal helped us, very friendly.

Fabuleux séjour en couple

L'hôtel est très bien situé, à peine 5 min de la plage. Le personnel est très gentil et courtois, toujours là pour rendre service. Je recommande cet hôtel.
