Beautiful hotel

We stayed in the superior room and it was definately worth paying that little bit extra. The room was beautiful. The biggest room i have ever stayed in. Breath taking when we first walked in. The only issue was that the bed wasn't the comfiest and the pillows were a little bit hard so i didn't sleep as well as hoped. Other than that it was a fantastic stay. Really clean and minimalistic so made the stay really relaxing.

Will visit again and again...

Pros: The stunning building and decor
Cons: Possibly of cheaper rooms and not charge extras car park fee etc.
Location: Unfortunately a taxi is required to go into town however the reception will order this for you. The spa is small but lovely so recommend booking!
Our second stay in our favourite hotel! This hotel is fantastic and you realise how special it is as soon as you enter the reception. It is not a cheap stay unfortunately the hotel rooms are probably one of the most expensive we ever have paid, you also have to pay additional fee to use the spa facilities and car park has now been changed so that you have to pay for this so there are extras to consider. The hotel building is fantastic, the food is amazing even just for a sandwich (fish finger recommended) and the staff are very helpful and accommodating. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Girlfriend’s birthday

We arrived at the hotel around 1pm and our room was ready to check in even though check in was supposed to be at 3pm. We enjoyed 2 hours in the spa using the hydrotherapy pool, steam room and sauna although this was an additional £20 each. The breakfast buffet in the morning was really nice. Room was really big and spacious aswell as the bathroom! We got a taxi into liverpool which only cost around £4. Can’t fault anything about our experience!

Great hotel overall, just a few issues

Arrived at hotel and was surprised by the rundown surrounding area, the hotel itself looked great though. There was actually free street parking just outside hotel which was a bonus and saved us using the paid car park. Hotel staff were very welcoming and pleasant. Room was large and well decorated. It was very dark though, it would definitely have benefited from extra lighting. The tv had a welcome sign with my name on it which was a nice touch. There was no mini fridge, which was disappointing as we had no where to chill our drinks. Also the carpet outside the bathroom was wet (obviously from the previous occupants) which we found was rather unpleasant to walk on. Bed was big and comfy and the air con/ heating system was very effective. The restaurant was good, a little on the expensive side however, so not the best if you are on a budget. The service staff were great. Breakfast was great and worth the £10 per head. However we ordered room service one evening, and found the margherita pizza was more like cheesy garlic bread and we were disappointed with it especially considering the £14 price tag. However overall we had a good stay!! It was our first visit to Liverpool and cannot recommend it enough!
