Used the hotel for proximity to the Manchester Apollo. Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The car park system is great and secure. If they were to add EV charging points it would be even better. My only gripe would be the breakfast. £12 for buffet by heat lamp. Not the best but they were catering for a very full hotel.

Friend and I booked two rooms for a business conference for 3 days. In summary, revolting and I have travelled the World and stayed at hotels from bed and breakfast to 7 star. On the day of arrival they notified me that the rooms will not be serviced or cleaned for the whole stay because of Covid track and trace and staff shortage. The elevators were not working properly. The Wi-Fi was not working properly. The staff at reception very unhelpful and highly unprofessional and untrained probably picked directly from the trash. They don’t welcome you and they don’t care they have caused inconvenience for your stay. Unbelievably when I requested a towel from reception as they were not servicing the room he said do you really need why don’t you use one for your the whole stay! The building is in poor shape, the rooms smell of vomit and dampness. You can hear other people in the neighbouring rooms. No bottled water. No apologies, no welcome, no thank you, no have a safe trip nothing. Oh yes before I forget expect to revalidate your room key everyday at reception. Our room key decided to stop working 2 of the three days. The reception said they were having issues and did not apologise. You wouldn’t expect this from any hotel, so no excuses. So if you are looking for a poor looking hostel type of accommodation or for brothel use then I would say you should be fine. So don’t bother even if you are looking for even a 1* experience.

Very slow check in. Upon check in reception gave me room that was reserved for another customer. Had to go back down to reception and rectify their mistake. Reception had a face on when clearly their fault. Phoning reception and room service from the room for about 1 hour and no answer. The phone stops working so had to go down to reception. Upon querying why nobody was answering, rude reception staff said she was busy but was clearly doing nothing. Had to go to the restaurant to order room service which they gave me a additional charge. I explained nobody is answering phone that is why I had to come down and order, but there still charged me. Food was disgusting to. Tasted like packaged microwaved food. Outdated hotel. Dusty room. No water bottles in room. Wouldn’t recommend at all. Complete let down in all aspects.

Rooms have not had any care in them for a long while, thinning carpets, dated and dirty chairs, and no room plug sockets next to bed.

The staff was very friendly. Room was bright and clean. Had no coffee pods in the room which was a little disappointing. And toilet was really hard to flush, but on the bright side the robes were to die for

I thought I had booked a night including breakfast to find out on check-in it was a further £12.00 The car park was a further £25.00 for a one night stay it certainly seems excessive! Situated at the front of the hotel on the second floor it was very noisy from traffic all night long. I was there for training and cannot fault the facilities the chocolate coissants are to die for!
