I liked the comfort of the executive bed, room was tidy. The breakfast was lovely served in a clean environment and was friendly. Room selection was good, very quiet, slept like a baby You could improve by introducing lifts my wife struggled the stairs since recovering from an operation. She was out of breath. Also deodorise rooms with lovely scents to eradicate odours, cigarette fumes etc Thank you Misheck

Comfortable stay

We were allocated a very comfortable and quiet room overlooking the golf course. The hotel is conveniently located for all amenities. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room cleanliness excellent.

So near but so far...

Pros: The reception staff were very friendly.
Cons: The manners of the barman, a simple "hello" or "good evening" would've helped so much!
Location: It's close to Central Milton Keynes but you need a car.
This was our third stay at this hotel and I doubt we'll be back! Checking in on a Friday evening just prior to a Murder Mystery event and the queue was growing. Luckily we were second in line so we only had a short wait - 15 minutes later and we were finally booked in! After dinner down town we decided to go for a drink in the bar, the barman was busy making cocktails so we waited, and waited and waited. The barman didn't say a word to us or even acknowledge our existence, the duty Manager, when she appeared likewise ignored us. After another 15 minute wait we left returning to our room. Now I know that this is personal preference but the room was extremely warm and coupled with the thickest duvet possible made it unbearable to sleep in, the bed wasn't particularly comfortable either. As we live locally I decided to go home at 1.30am, leaving my wife on her own, returning to have breakfast and pick her up later. Simply put, the breakfast wasn't worth the trip back. Tired food that had been out too long, sausages that looked undercooked although I would say that I had a fresh egg and the mushrooms were nice. As I said, it's probably personal preference but I don't like being ignored by staff when I'm waiting and I doubt I'll return here.

Never again!!!

My partner took me here for my birthday for 3 nights and ordered the superior room, which wasn't so superior. Firstly we went to our room to find the toilet was really dirty from the previous person and then noticed that the sink plug mechanism didn't work so we had to keep doing it manually. We went out for the evening and when we returned we decided to ask to be changed rooms to which we were downgraded as no other rooms were available. We had that option or got told we had to stay in the room we had already (with broken sink and dirty toilet). The new room we went to had a double bed and not a kingsize. The website states that all rooms should come with a kingsize bed and shows that all rooms have a jacuzzi bath! But we had a small bath with a broken plug yet again. Also we had black mould on the ceiling! The bed sheets were not changed for two nights, on the third night we had to write a note to ask for them to be changed. And also for an extra glass as we only got given one, we then got given a plastic cup from the bathroom that held toothbrushes. Overall it was a noisy, uncomfortable and unhygienic stay and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
