Although looking slightly 'tired' this is a great place to stay. We have always found the staff to be pleasant and enthusiastic to help, the apartments are spacious and the beds are lovely and comfortable. The kitchens are fairly well stocked for a short stay and the bathrooms, clean and contain lots of fresh towels. Good location also as we arrive by train and are only a 100yd walk from Edinburgh Waverley station. This is our 3rd stay here and we will return.

Our location is indeed perfect for a good night out at the Play House Theatre. Thank you for staying with us.

Fringe Festival 40s

Pros: Space and quality.
Cons: The hair dryer was broken as was a towel rail. A king size bed would have been great for the couple as would chairs in the main bedroom.
Location: Perfect for pretty much anything during the festival. Great view of the city and Arthur's seat .
We were a mixed group of 5 in our forties for the Fringe. Two single males, a female and a couple. We took a 3 bedroom place, two doubles and a twin. It worked perfectly as we had the right combination of privacy and social space. A few things were broken but if we got the same deal next year we'd have the same again.

Thank you for having stayed at Princes Street Suites for your recent stay. I am glad that all in one it has been a great experience. Allow me however to apologise for the hair dryer that should have been picked up upon pro-active room check.

Convenient location

Pros: Like having space of an apartment
Cons: Bed small for a double. Sofa covered in plastic vinyl which made it slippery and uncomfortable to sit on - needs a fabric throw to cover. TV small.
Convenient location near central railway station - good base for tourism and business visit.

Disappointing

Visited over the bank holiday weekend for the Edinburgh Fringe. Booked an apartment rather than a hotel so that we could prepare and cook our own meals, unfortunately the kitchen was poorly equipped with the basics. Only 3 plates, mugs, glasses etc. No oven trays. No scissors. No chopping board. No plug or washing up bowl etc etc. It did however have a dishwasher, and huge freezer. Neither of which were much use.

perfect

The apartment was just fine, with a lot of space and very quiet. The furnitures were ok, even though they looked a little bit cheap. Several lights did not work when we took the apartment but were immediately fixed. I will certainly book again there when I go back to Edinburgh.

Excellent

Stopped off for a one night stay for a concert. As a regular Edinburgh visitor, needed something central and the location of Princes Street Suites is ideal. Within a 2 minute walk is Edinburgh Waverley train station and Princes Street itself. My room, or should I say, penthouse suite!, was impeccable. 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, large lounge plus balcony. TVs in every room. Had all the amenities you wish for. The views, looking over The North Bridge were just stunning. Okay, it was a bit big just for myself! But cannot recommend it enough. Caters for everyone, couples and amilies in paticular. As good a place as I've stayed anywhere.
