The fact that we booked this hotel for the parking and then there was no parking was very frustrating. "Hotel with Parking" doesn't mean fighting for every space with 300 other people.
Also, and this isn't the fault of the hotel I'm sure, but if it was my hotel I'd be campaigning for some kind of one way signage as the road around the back of the hotel is ONE CAR WIDE. So the fact that cars a) have no clue as to direction, and b) have no way to overtake cars unloading is extremely dangerous and a bit stupid.
The bathroom from the bar only has ONE toilet although it's vast and could easily fit two, and the lift didn't work.
There was NO fresh air in the corridors of the second floor and was stifling.
The staff had no idea who we were half the time, though we spoke every day, which felt a bit impersonal. One day they even stopped us to ask us to check in!
I'm not sure I would book here again. There are better run places with the same amenities in town and a sharp decor doesn't always make for a good hotel.
On the plus side, it was well situated for walkers or cyclists (their main demographic)
