In the end I decided not to stay at the hotel. It likes to market itself particularly as a gay friendly hotel. There is a large bar downstairs. In the end after being irritated by a drunken gay man making passes when I'm a straight man when in Cardiff city centre looking for an open city centre supermarket. I dont want that annoyance again. I hadn't spotted anything saying that about it on your website. I wouldn'thave booked if I'd realised it.

Friendly & Clean

Lovely hotel right on the seafront and walking distance to the main town although there are some bars and restaurants very near by. I booked a luxury suite room which was excellent and very roomy, would definitely visit this hotel again and requesting the same room.

Great Hotel for a short break

Pros: As above
Cons: Nothing
Location: Probably one of the best sea front hotel locations in Brighton, directly opposite the pier. 10 mins walk from the city centre.
We stayed at Legends in Brighton for 3 nights in July. This is our second visit. We also stayed there in 2016. The accommodation is excellent. The room and shower spotless. The breakfast was also excellent. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We have no ciriticisms. If you have a sea view you must expect some noise from the night club. It has never bothered us.

Friendly, clean and comfortable.

Pros: Central Location
Cons: Eggs were slightly overcooked. Early checkin not an option
Location: Central, lanes within walking distance
The hotel is on the sea front. We had a superior delux which was roomy. The bed was comfortable. No noise. Good breakfast (freshly cooked and not a buffet)

Average hotel

The bar and the staff really friendly. But for the price of stay def not value for money. The room had a amazing view but it was very very small for a double room the toilet/shower was the size of a portaloo there was mould on the walls and ceiling it felt more like a hostel than hoteland for £150pn i wont be returning.

Lovely on the seafront

We loved the location of the hotel, hotel staff were brilliant, breakfast was amazing, the only fault I had was that the bed was uncomfortable, which gave me and my partner a bad back each morning, so spoiled our days, as we were having to take pills in order to walk around, don't go on a Sunday afternoon as it was a nightmare trying to get past everyone with our suitcases, as the nightclub is at the front as you walk in, and reception is through the back, maybe we were just too old for this lol

good location, good view but too much noise from the club

We are a gay couple. Found this hotel online, booked online. At the reception desk, there was a problem with finding the booking, then our room was relocated from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor. We asked the receptionist aobut the noise at night, we were told that the music should be gone after 11:00 pm. But the music went on until 1:00 am, then there was the noise of people shouting and talking at the front of the building... The good thing is that they offer good variety of breakfast options. They even offer vegan breakfast, and it was a very nice vegan breakfast. Overall I would say it is a good hotel, however if you want to have a good night sleep, you need to stay away...

Great welcome!

I told my colleagues at work I was about to stay in a gay hotel, and one lady asked what a gay hotel was. We found a great welcome, and staff as friendly as any I have found in the world. The rooms were clean, and the cooked breakfasts both generous and superb. The hotel's location couldn't be better. There were many straight guests too. My answer now to my colleague would be that a gay hotel is somewhere to stay where everyone can be themselves.
