If you're thinking about booking an inland view room - don't! The decor is tired, bathrooms tired. We upgraded to a seaview room at an additional cost, which was lovely but we had already paid a fortune for two rooms at the hotel on a Saturday. You will definitely not have The Grand experience if you book and inland room, book seaview - if you can afford it! Also, be aware that you need to wear a mask in all public areas, they can only be removed when sitting in the bar or restaurant. On the plus side, the breakfast was very good and the more expensive rooms are very nice.

Really enjoyed our stay, staff friendly and helpful. Must try and revisit when Spa etc back open.

We were kept awake all night by the alarm on the ceiling kept looking like sparks coming out of it and making noises every hour and there was people clothes in the room when we got there so had to ring reception ! Loved the hotel but we won’t go back due to being kept up all night buy the alarm on the ceiling which was a shame as we loved the hotel and the staff are amazing 😉

Was OK but some touches that I would have expected like robes and slippers were missing, poor quality teabags,no light over the only writing table, to give an idea, the concieges were excellent
