I was at the property for business so didn't get time to make full use of the amenities. However, the thing I really didn't like was the way you have to pay for EVERYTHING. It's not cheap to stay here so free wifi wouldn't be such a hardship, would it? Everything is geared towards 'Honors' guests (if you're not a regular visitor, you don't really want to have to 'join' a hotel) and for me it was a step too far that the (tiny) bottles of mineral water in the room were free for 'Honors' guests and £1.50 for 'non-Honors' guests. This did not exactly make me feel welcome! The weather outside was pretty warm so I went to the corner shop and bought a bottle of mineral water, twice the size for £1.50! At check in I opted for breakfast and was given a voucher - at no time was I told what it would cost, but I knew it would be expensive and gritted my teeth. The coffee machine was not working at breakfast which did not exactly make me happy about the 'mystery' price. When I checked out it was 'charged to the card we have for you on file' and again I was not told the cost verbally. I have yet to check my bank statement but I think this is extremely bad practice (I stay in a lot of hotels). So, my review? Clean hotel, nice room, friendly staff, ok location but the opportunistic pricing policy - especially about breakfast (without decent coffee) means I won't be staying here again.

With regards to the cost of Breakfast, it is £15 per person if purchased beforehand and £17.50 if purchased on the day. Absolutely terrible service, room was not ready until 5pm, even then because I had needed to collect a friend for a 5.30 restaurant booking I had left my wife to wait for the room then to add insult to injury they would not give her the key as I was not there albeit I had already filled in the registration documents that included my mobile number that they could have used to confirm anything. Then no towels in the room, rubbish room location for a £269.00 a night room overlooking noisy smelly extraction unit. I will never stay there again and would not recommend it to anybody

I paid over 600 pound to stay there and the bed was so old and hard springs popping out my back was very bad all my stay and I couldn't walk properly

Positives were staff were polite and helpful, room clean, food good. Negatives were, long wait at check in, no free water or biscuits in room for a 4 star hotel, drinks expensive in hotel bar and the bed in room 422 was hard, lumpy and noisy with the slightest of movement, so had the worst nights sleep i've ever had in a hotel.

Noises from draughty vents/windows. cracks in bidet, sink , bath. wood lifting on sink surround and side tables, keycard kept resetting. Room cleaned but used glass not. Can book parking but not for 7 days only 6 ! Just tired surrounds and frustrating issues meant it didn’t live up to expectations, sorry .

Disappointed Hilton Hotel

Bad smell at the room. Very old bathroom. Very hard to use the left. Alot of annoying dogs at the hotel and indide the rooms.
