The hotel was fine, a bit dated and worn out but did the job for one night. We had a very small room at the back of the hotel with a tiny window which overlooking a filthy window sill and scaffolding. The bathroom was very new and clean. The room was very hot. The staff at reception and at breakfast were very nice and friendly but I just think for the price we paid (over £230 for one night) the rooms are not up to standard but there are limited options in Brighton.

The staff are all very friendly and the breakfast was efficiently served with a good choice including hot items snd fresh fruit/ smoked salmon. This was chosen from a menu and served to you. The location is excellent on the seafront The room was also very good after we upgraded when we arrived to a sea view room. You will have to be very careful when you book as the first room we were given was in the basement and was like a prison cell so be very clear about where you want to stay and it isn’t in the basement! The room we changed to fit very little extra was a world apart a very large family room with sea views. The bathroom had been recently renovated but the furnishings in the room a little tired. Nice and clean.

Friendly staff, quick check in and great service overall. Single room adequate for one night accommodation. Breakfast is really good. I will stay again.

Unfortunately the room we stayed in was very dilapidated, old and very small for a very high price!!!! Breakfast was good and hotel staff were friendly

Check in was quick and all staff were attentive and efficient. Our room was large with great sea view and breakfast was fine. The downside was that we were directly above the bar and a some of residents were noisy. Being a weekend and front facing, there is traffic and people noise.

Der Empfang an der Rezeption war schrecklich unfreundlich. Jedes Mal wenn man etwas von ihnen brauchte, hatte man das Gefühl, sie zu stören und wurde frech und abweisend bedient.
