We had a two night stay and we had what we needed. The bathroom was on the small side, you had to squeeze between the bath and the toilet to close the door so you could get to the sink. The bath was very small, at 5’5” I could only fit with my knees pulled up. I overcame this by just having a shower for which I had enough room. In the room was a tv, ironing board, iron, tv, safe, hairdryer and plenty of storage for our clothes. Our room overlooked city square and we had no disruption from traffic noise. The room did get quite warm and the air con wasn’t working, we didn’t ask to sort it, but I’m sure if we had it would have been. The breakfast was lovely and mad a great start to our days. The staff were friendly and helpful. I believe that the hotel is about to undertake some renovation work, which I would say is much needed. We enjoyed our stay and policies put in place to ensure people’s safety during the pandemic was more than adequate. We would choose this hotel again but would probably look at a higher grade room.
