Billiges Hotel aber immerhin im Zentrum

Das Hotel war sehr alt und die Zimmer sahen dementsprechend aus. Sie waren teils schmuzig mit Schimmel-Spuren im Bad und in der Minibar und sehr Ringhörig. Das Bad inkl. Dusche hatte ca. 2 Quadratmeter und der Wasserdruck gefühlte 10 Tropfen/Sekunde. Das WLAN funktionierte mehrere Tage nicht und es kümmerte sich trotz unserer Anfrage niemand darum. Die ersten beiden Nächte mussten wir noch in Schwesternhotel 'Topham Hotels' ein paar Häuser weiterverbringen jnd da waren die Zimmerzustände noch schlimmer. Für 2 Personen hatte es ein 1.2m breites Bett und ums Bett herum ca. 0.5m Platz bis zur Wand. Man flog also regelrecht über die Koffer usw. In der Nacht wurde es trotz geöffnetem Fenster und niedrigen Aussentemperaturen ca. Stickige 30° warm. Es war somit also nicht günstig sondern billig aber immerhin nur ca. 2 Gehminuten von der Victoria Station entfernt, die sehr Zentral liegt und bei der gleich mehrere U-Bahnlinien halt machen.

Skandalös!

Schmutziges Bad . Auch nach dem täglichen Reinigen nicht sauber. Kaputtes Türschloss. Kaputte Lampe. Bett kaputt. Tv lächerlich klein. Wasserhahn kaputt. Vorhänge angenagelt. Alles krumm und schräg. Einzig das Personal an der Reception war ok. Reinigungspersonal unfreundlich.

Huoneet olivat huonossa kunnossa ja monet asiat olivat vinksallaan vessan lampusta lähtien.

Relogés au Tophams

Pros: Très proche de Victoria, personnel sympa, petit dej à volonté
Prêts à partir à quatre en "famille", nous avions booké Eaton Square pour deux chambres à deux et n'avons vu les critiques qu'après avoir tout payé... Ça nous a bien stressés vu le niveau des critiques. À l'arrivée on nous a d'emblée proposé un upgrade pour une chambre familiale dans le bâtiment du Tophams, ce que nous avons accepté avec un brin de soulagement (nous n'avons donc rien vu de l'Eaton Square au final), et tout était bien correct. Couloir un peu vieillot mais chambre cosy, salle de bains nickel et récente, lits confortables, petit dej continental mais avec un peu de salé et surtout à volonté. Personnel aimable. À deux pas de la gare Victoria donc extrêmement bien situé.

Hotelli lähellä Victorian asemaa

Kun saavuimme varaamaamme hotelliin oli lukitun ulko-oven ovipuhelimessa viesti, että tämä hotelli on suljettu ja pyydettiin siirtymään viereiseen hotelli Tophams:iin. Näin teimme ja odottelimme, että pärskivä henkilökunta vaivautui vihdoin palvelemaan meitä (silloin ainoat asiakkaat). Saimme huoneemme, joka sijaitsi kellarikerroksessa; oli toki ikkuna hätäportaaseen. Paljon matkustaneena tämä oli toki uusi kokemus, mutta toivottavasti viimeinen sellainen.
