Disappointing spend

Pros: Comfy bed
Cons: The light underneath the door and the bright light from the air con system
Location: London, Kensington.
For how much i paid for the room i was a bit disappointed. Got there and the staff were friendly but they failed to inform us of where our room was or what floor it was on, or even the direction we need to head in to get to the room (basic hotel service i thought from previous experience). Luckily someone in the lift told us where we needed to be. Got to the room and there were BOGEYS on the headboard! Not impressed and had to clean them off myself before going to sleep. General overview of the room... door lets alot of light underneath so the room was quite light, including the bright glow from the air con system so didnt get alot of sleep (but i like the room to be dark when i go to sleep) Rust & dust in the bathroom an old ripped shower curtain. BUT the bed, duvet & pillows are extremely comfortable. Such a shame but wont be booking there again.

Average hotel

Does the job for a central London hotel. Parking a bit tight for a big car, low cars probably wouldn't recommend because if steep slope. No free wifi. Okay.

Ok stay

The hotel reception/lobby area is very nice. The corridors and rooms are all nice and clean. Staff were lovely and location was great for shopping and tubes. On the downside the first problem was the car park really needs some sort of warning on the way in as the ramp down scrapped the bumper of our car. We opened the door to our room and it slammed straight into the wall as there was a really tight little corridor leading into the tiny room, It was a nice room but bathroom and room it's self were just so small. Lastly the aircon/heating system in the room made an annoying humming all through the night which drove me nuts, would have called to sort the problem but we got back to the room and discovered it quite late that night.

Rooms fine/Food very poor

I was offered the 3 course dinner for £19 and what a poor choice! Starter of Beetroot and cheese was ok, pasta main was awful (overcooked mush) the waiter did offer something else but I didnt feel like it... Toffee pudding was fine, but poor vale for £19 (plus £7 for a glass of house white...) - better dinner options at Holland Park or even Westfield! Room was very loud and parking is v expensive at £32 per night...

Chambre à rénover

Pros: L'accueil (réception, coin à manger, y compris pour petit déjeuner et conciergerie).
Cons: -

Kaksi kaverusta Lontoossa

Hotellille oli helppo löytää, metroasema sijaitsi kävelymatkan päässä. Bussit lähtivät hotellin edestä. Pakettiimme ei kuulunut aamupalaa, mutta läheltä löytyy todella hyviä kahviloita, kävelymatkan päässä, missä nauttia loistavia aamiaisia. Kuluneisuutta huoneessa havaittavissa. Hiustenkuivaajamme ei toiminut laisinkaan. Huoneemme sijaitsi sisäpihalla, joten kadun liikenne ei häirinnyt meitä. Hotellin muut vieraat olivat hyvin kansainvälisiä. Palvelu oli todella ystävällistä. Lähellä sijaitseva Westfieldin ostoskeskus oiva paikka ostosten tekemiseen. Löytyy myös ravintoloita. Suosittelen.
