The hotel is lovely, but the rooms could do with some refurbishing. Our room had torn curtains that needed some love. We had booked an exec room, but on arrival was placed in room 403, which was right next to the lifts and looked directly out on to the train platform. It was awful. Thankfully we were able to move rooms to the 10th floor, to an actual exec room with view of the shard. Lovely stay and would definitely return.

Hotel is very fancy in the communal areas but outside of this is quite run down. Some staff were friendly and others created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Facilities were good but limited space to sit around the pool and most of the lockers were broken which created some difficulty. Room needs updating and refurbishing. A little dirty and very worn. We had no pillowcases, robes or hand soap (surprisingly given covid!) and frustratingly the telephone was broken so we had to travel to reception to ask for this to be sorted. We also had to ask again when going out for dinner as they had brought these things during the 3 hours we were in the room, which meant we couldn’t relax to get ready. Storing luggage was simple and easy though.

Very nice style hotel, comfy beds, lovely staff, warm rooms and lots of space. The view from the room was awful - we overlooked a sort of electric station and a tube line which we could also hear through the walls. The hot tap in the bath didn’t go very warm so opted for a shower instead.

I have stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions - It is getting a little tired but is currently undergoing a £11m refurb so should soon be back to it's best. Good loaction for tourists, i would recommend but try to get one of the refurbished rooms. The original rooms are in no way shabby, but just a little out of date.

Unser Start war nicht so gut,wir bekamen ein kleines Zimmer mit Aussicht auf eine graue Wand,keine Schränke und sehr klein,das Zimmer entsprach nicht der gebuchten Kategorie. Mit Kontaktaufnahme und Unterstützung von ebookers bekamen wir ein gutes Zimmer mit toller Aussicht. Vielen Dank. Schade ist,dass es nur einen kleinen Teil im Schrank für Kleidung hinzulegen gibt. Der verstopfte Abfluss putze ich dann selber,da dem Zimmermädchen anscheinend egal war,dass das Wasser nicht ablief (Dreck von längerer Zeit).Zustand schon bei Ankunft so. Der Rest vom Hotel war gepflegt. Frühstück war super.
