Comfortable room!

The room was clean enough although was very cold inside. There were some stains on the walls.

Central London overnight stay

Pros: Staff were helpful
Cons: Would be nice to have had a sandwich,
Location: Situated close to Kings Cross Station with plenty of bars and restaurants in the area although I did not choose this hotel for that reason.
Water was apparently accidentally switched off so unable to shower or flush toilet. Hotel staff were good. It would have been good to be able to buy a sandwich as only snacks were available in the hotel.

Some positives; several negatives

Location: Very conveniently situated near King's Cross Station and St Pancras stations. There are also many buses to various parts of London nearby.
Positives: Clean; comfortable bed; adequate en suite. Negatives: 1) No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. I travel a lot and have never before not found this facility in a hotel in the UK. 2) Room not serviced during our stay. Upon querying this, we were told that, if guests stay for more than one night, the room is only serviced after the 3rd night & every 3 days thereafter. I have never before experienced this anywhere I have travelled, including other London budget hotels, elsewhere in the UK, in Europe, the USA or South Africa. 3) On the 1st night of our stay, my husband & I could not both have a second pillow, since the supply of pillows had run out. 4) Not only was our room not serviced after the 1st night of our stay, there was no toilet brush in the bathroom for me to clean the toilet when that became necessary. 5) We had booked for 2 people; yet only one drinking glass was supplied. I had to go back to reception to get another one. My husband and I travel to London quite often and have stayed at a number of budget hotels. I can assure anyone reading this review that there are better ones in London than this one !

Basic even for a budget hotel

We didn't pay much but we're disappointed to have an internal room with no window. Was on the small side and all felt very cramped. Was clean enough though and the bed was very comfy. Our toilet wouldn't flush but was soon fixed and alternative facilities provided in the meantime. Super friendly staff. No tea/coffee making facilities.

Couple city break

Hotel was in a fantastic location! Room was clean and a good size with a good view. The only thing that we were glad of was that because we had booked it though a booking agent we had WiFi, towels, TV and safe facilities included otherwise we would have had to pay much extra for this amenities.
